Help Children Connect Science to Careers and Interests
United Way needs volunteers to visit classrooms in Waukegan elementary schools to talk about any of the science topics or careers listed below. Volunteers will speak to children for about twenty minutes with an additional ten minutes for a question and answer period. We ask that volunteers commit to one hour (two consecutive presentations) and arrive ten minutes prior to your scheduled speaking time.
